CAN SIN EVER BE ERADICATED?
Most of the time we apply the atoning life and death of Christ solely to personal forgiveness and salvation. But the real purpose of the atonement plan is to put together what has been torn apart in God's universe. If there is one crucial thing that must be accomplished by God, it is to permanently eradicate sin so that it will never again be seriously considered by even the least educated person alive. How will God do this? The answer is found in the sanctuary system, and we need to understand every aspect of the activities of priests and sacrifices to know what part we will play in this final and complete eradication of sin without violating the principle of freedom of choice.

Only those who by God’s grace have overcome all sin will receive the gift of the latter rain and have the seal of God placed in their foreheads. The plan of God in the final generation is to cleanse the hearts of His covenant people, to cleanse His true church from all sin, and to cleanse His sanctuary of the records of all accumulated sins. The primary mission of the Adventist Church is to cooperate with God in this final work.
